Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some answers to the questions I hear most from Latino executives considering working together. If you don't see what you're looking for, feel free to reach out directly.
1
Who Do You Work With?
I work with Latino executives - leaders who are often the first in their family to reach this level of income and influence, and who need a wealth strategy sophisticated enough to match: equity compensation, tax strategy, and long-term generational wealth planning.
2
What Makes Your Approach Different?
As a first -generation wealth creator myself, I understand what it means to be "the first" - the first to think about a trust, the first with no one to call for advice. I combine that understanding with deep technical expertise, including a background in tax planning, to build a strategy that matches the complexity of your financial life.
3
Are You a Fiduciary?
Yes. As an Investment Advisor Representative with Savvy Advisors, Inc., and as a CFP® professional, I'm held to a fiduciary standard - meaning I'm legally and ethically required to act in your best interest, not just recommend what's "suitable". That standard applies to the investment advice and planning recommendations I provide.
4
How Do You Charge for Your Services?
I offer two fee structures depending on what fits your situation best: a percentage of assets under management, or a flat financial planning fee. The right structure and the specific cost depends on your circumstances, so I go over the details together once we've had a chance to talk and I understand your situation. This is one of the things we can cover in our intro call.
5
Do You Work with Clients Nationwide?
Yes. I work with clients nationwide via video conference even if they're not located in my same state.
6
What Does the First Meeting Look Like?
The first conversation is a free, no-obligation call. I'll listen to understand your specific situation, your career, your compensation structure, your goals, and we'll figure out together whether it's the right fit before moving forward.
